Children’s Day: Inspiring Imagination and Nurturing Aspirations
At HFSE International School, childhood is a time for joy, discovery, and growth. It is also a time for imagination and dreaming. For this reason, the school community came together on 29 September 2025 to celebrate Happy Children’s Day with a special occupation-themed dress-up activity. The HAPI Dream Team thoughtfully organised this event.
This celebration focused on recognising children as confident individuals. Each child was encouraged to explore interests and express ideas through play. As a result, Happy Children’s Day became a meaningful experience filled with creativity, curiosity, and confidence.
Bringing Dreams to Life Through Occupational Dress Up
During the Children’s Day celebration, children dressed up in different occupations. These included community helpers as well as creative roles. Every costume represented a dream, a role, or a possibility.
Through occupational dress up, children explored the world of work in a playful way. At the same time, they practised communication and social interaction. In addition, role play helped children build confidence and express ideas freely.
At HFSE International School, learning goes beyond the classroom. Therefore, activities like Happy Children’s Day connect play with purpose and support real-world understanding.
A Celebration Created by the HAPI Dream Team
Every successful celebration relies on teamwork. For Happy Children’s Day, the HAPI Dream Team planned each detail with care. The team focused on ensuring that the activity was joyful, inclusive, and appropriate.
As a result, every child felt welcomed and celebrated. In addition, the event encouraged active participation and positive engagement. Educators supported children throughout the celebration, which helped strengthen trust and connection.
Because of this, children felt safe to explore and express themselves. The strong involvement of staff created a warm and supportive environment for learning and playing.
Supporting Growth Through Play and Creativity
Celebrations such as Happy Children’s Day support holistic development. Alongside academic learning, children also need opportunities for creativity and emotional growth. Play-based activities provide these opportunities naturally.
Through dress-up play, children explored personal interests and strengths. At the same time, educators observed individuality and supported self-expression. Confidence and self-awareness continued to grow through shared experiences.
