POSITION DETAILS
Job Details:
Teaching & Lesson Planning
- Prepare and deliver engaging lessons tailored to students’ needs and learning levels.
- Develop lesson plans and teaching materials aligned with the curriculum.
- Use innovative teaching methods to enhance understanding and retention.
Student Assessment & Progress Monitoring
- Assess students’ strengths, weaknesses, and learning styles.
- Provide regular feedback and performance reports to students and parents.
- Assign and evaluate practice work, quizzes, and assessments.
Classroom Management & Engagement
- Create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
- Maintain discipline and encourage active student participation.
- Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate different learning paces.
Parent & Stakeholder Communication
- Communicate progress, challenges, and recommendations to parents/guardians.
- Provide guidance on study techniques and exam preparation.
Administrative Duties
- Maintain accurate student attendance and performance records.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education, or a related field (preferred) or Diploma in Education, Teaching, or relevant certification for non-degree holders).
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the local curriculum.
- Professional teaching certification (optional but advantageous).
